Original mixed media piece on reclaimed composite wood board, 20" × 29". Hand-painted aspen bark in silver and white, with real pressed aspen leaves — some gathered and pressed by hand in Wyoming — alongside hand-stamped leaf impressions. Scattered throughout the trunks are the tree's natural "aspen eyes," the almond-shaped scars left where the tree shed its lower branches as it grew.
Eyes that watch the forest, leaves that never sit still.
