This piece has a story. It started as an experiment — my first time working with texture paste — and I didn't love where it landed. So I let it sit. Then one day I came back to it and saw something else entirely. I painted over it, layered in color, pressed real flowers into the surface, and tucked in words cut from newspapers — "Art," "Imagine," "Dreams" — words that had been living in my head all along.
Soft blocks of pink, blue, lavender, and white build a quiet grid across the surface, while dried flowers rest in the layers like memories pressed between pages. This is what it looks like when you refuse to give up on something.
